Colleen Braak is a photographer, illustrator and visual artist who specializes in unique portrait photography.
She studied at The International Center of Photography in New York City, The School of Visual Arts, The New School for Social Research and was a core member of the historic Camera Club of New York.
She has exhibited at the Edward Hopper Gallery in Nyack, New York, The Cast Iron Gallery in Soho, New York and group exhibitions in Italy and London.
She has traveled extensively, lived in New York City, Santa Fe, rural South Africa, London, Memphis, San Francisco and the hills of Massachusetts. She is known for recording haunting psychological images and is currently constructing her own lightboxes and printing large scale experimental images.
